“As it turned out, the infection was caused by long memorial events attended by relatives from Moscow, Izberbash and other territories of Dagestan,” the message says.
The population of Urakha is about 600 people, of which 11 were hospitalized with coronavirus and pneumonia at the district hospital.
Another 22 people are treated on an outpatient basis.
Earlier, the interim head of Dagestan, Sergei Melikov, announced the deterioration of the situation with COVID-19 in the region.
