The time of military service in the army is taken into account when calculating the length of service.

This was reported to RIA Novosti in the press service of the Russian Pension Fund.

The department stressed that for each year of service, 1.8 pension coefficient is charged.

The FIU noted that in some cases, the calculations take into account military service until 2002, but this option does not always guarantee the largest amount of payments.

Note that the size of the pension of a citizen of the Russian Federation depends on the individual pension coefficients, which are calculated for each year of official employment, their number depends on the amount of insurance premiums and length of service.

Moreover, the cost of each coefficient is revised every year when calculating the pension.

In March, Elena Bibikova, deputy chairman of the Federation Council committee on social policy, said that the issue of the possibility of including military service on conscription in the seniority for early retirement was being considered.

“Now the passage of service is included in the seniority for the appointment of a pension on a general basis.

And the issue of its inclusion in the length of service when assigning a pension on preferential terms with long work experience is being discussed, "Parlamentskaya Gazeta quoted her as saying.

In turn, the head of the State Duma committee on labor, social policy and veterans affairs, Yaroslav Nilov, in a conversation with RT, noted that the LDPR faction had introduced a bill to the State Duma, which proposed that the length of service on conscription for preferential retirement be taken into account.

“Neither the government supported us, nor the majority of the deputies.

Therefore, we, the LDPR faction, will continue to develop this topic, work on it.

We believe that it would be fair for this length of service to be included, because such a duty is spelled out in the Constitution, and accordingly, the service should be included in the total length of service in order to provide the possibility of granting preferential retirement, ”he said.

On June 15, on the federal portal of draft regulatory legal acts, a draft order of the Ministry of Labor was published, from which it follows that the Pension Fund of Russia will be able to transfer the pension to the pensioner's account in the bank if he does not pick it up at the post office.

"The payment of the pension, including its delivery, in the territory where the emergency regime has been introduced, regardless of its nature (federal, interregional, regional, intermunicipal, municipal, local), will become possible earlier than this month," the explanatory note says.

It is noted that if the pension is not received at the post office, the payment will be credited to the account no later than three working days from the date of receipt of information about the payments delivered and not delivered in the current month.

Along with this, non-receipt of a pension will be confirmed by the reporting data of postal organizations and other organizations that deliver cash payments.

“If the organization that delivers the pension to the pensioner submits information about changes in the data on the basis of which the pension is delivered to this pensioner (by the credit institution - the pensioner's account number opened in the credit institution of his choice, the name of the unit of the selected credit institution), take into account the information provided when organizing the delivery of a pension to a pensioner, ”the document says.

Earlier, the Accounts Chamber reported that the indexation of insurance payments to non-working pensioners from January 1, 2021 amounted to 6.3%.

"As a result of indexation, the average size of the old-age insurance pension of a non-working pensioner increased by 1,032.25 rubles and amounted to 17,535.98 rubles as of January 1, 2021," the message said.

At the same time, since April 1, 2021, social pensions in Russia have been indexed by 3.4%.

The government decree indicated that the PFR budget provides 12.8 billion rubles for these purposes.

Indexation will affect more than 3.9 million people.

We are talking about those who do not have sufficient proven experience to calculate an insurance pension.

In addition, in March, the Russian government expanded the list of periods that are taken into account when calculating the length of service of employees eligible for an early retirement pension.

"Now, in the length of service, which gives the right to early retirement, periods of study and additional professional education, including refresher courses, will be counted," the Cabinet of Ministers said.
