Train hosts will be replaced with cameras - and in the future, drivers will keep track of safety via the cameras.

This is something that, among other things, worries the trade union Seko, which believes that two people are needed who are responsible for the safety of the trains: drivers and train hosts.

But even the Gnestapendeln Association with around 1,000 members is worried and believes that cameras and other initiatives such as mobile teams, which are ready to pull out, are not enough.

Regional Councilor Kristoffer Tamsons (M) believes, however, that this system has been tested in other countries and that the money saved on removing train hosts can be invested in other, perhaps even better, security solutions.

In the clip, the chairman of the association, Benny Åberg, explains why he does not like train hosts being replaced by cameras.
