A meeting between the Presidents of Russia and the United States, Vladimir Putin and Joe Biden, took place at the Villa La Grange in Geneva. First, the heads of state exchanged handshakes, after which the delegations negotiated. During a press conference following the summit, the Russian leader noted that there was "no hostility" at the meeting, while the head of state said there was no illusion. Biden, in turn, said that the United States and Russia have a number of issues on which the positions of states coincide, including strategic stability.
