Russian President Vladimir Putin said on the 16th (local time) that the summit was "constructive" despite the differences between the two sides.



After meeting with US President Joe Biden in Geneva, Switzerland on the same day, Putin explained the outcome of the meeting through a press conference to readers.



"There is no problem that Russia and the United States cannot solve together," Putin said.



He also described President Biden as "a constructive, well-rounded and experienced interlocutor."



Putin said that the ambassadors of the two countries, who returned to their countries amid the conflict with the US, will return to their duties soon.



Earlier, Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov returned to the US in mid-March, and US Ambassador to Russia John Sullivan returned to Moscow and Washington in late April, respectively.



The two ambassadors from both sides attended the summit today.



In response to the alleged crackdown on Russian opposition activist Alexei Navalny, Putin said, "This man has been convicted twice for violating Russian law." I did.



In response to the criticism that Russia is threatening Ukraine by moving its troops to the border with Ukraine, he said, Russia is conducting military exercises legally within the country.



The first summit between President Biden and President Putin was held at Villa La Grunge in Geneva, Switzerland.It lasted about 3 hours and 30 minutes.
