Istat notes this, explaining that the incidence varies from 9.5% in the Center to 14.5% in the South. Compared to 2019, the conditions of minors worsened nationally (from 11.4% to 13.5%) and in particular in the North (from 10.7% to 14.4%) and in the Center (from 7.2% to 9.5%). Disaggregating by age, the incidence is confirmed to be higher in the 7-13 year olds (14.2%) and 14-17 year olds (13.9%, increasing) compared to the 4-6 year olds (12.8%) and 0-3 years (12.0%, up compared to 2019).
