Wales won their first victory in Euro football by inflicting a second defeat on Turkey (2-0) on Matchday 2 of Group A, Wednesday in Baku, under the eyes of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan .
The Welsh, hooked by Switzerland (1-1) in the first match, scored by Juventus striker Aaron Ramsey (43rd) on a superb opening from Gareth Bale, who offered at the end of the match an assist to Connor Roberts (90 + 5) for the 2-0.
Bale even missed a whistled penalty for a foul on himself in the 61st minute.
The chances of qualifying are now very compromised for Turkey, beaten 3-0 by Italy in the opening match.
