From next year, 2022, Almedalen Week will be shortened from eight days to five. This is a change that has been in demand for a few years and it means that the parliamentary parties, which previously had each day during the week, will now be allowed to share days.
This year's Almedalen Week is carried out digitally for four days, due to the corona pandemic.
All party leaders will give speeches, which are broadcast by SVT, from the Riksdag in Stockholm.
