June 16, 2021 Another black smoke at the center-right summit today on the candidates for mayors of Milan and Bologna. Today's Leaders Summit ended with a stalemate and will update next week. Some present say that, despite the postponement, the favorite for Palazzo Marino remains the manager of Mediolanum, the 'civic' Oscar di Montigny, in tandem with Gabriele Albertini.



During the summit, according to what is learned, Matteo Salvini would have insisted on this ticket, but it would still be a question of winning the resistance of the allies of the coalition. In particular, Noi con Italia would have put its foot down by claiming the candidacy of the 'politician' and former minister Maurizio Lupi. The leader of the League would have reserved to meet Montigny and Albertini over the weekend. And contacts with other civic profiles would not be excluded.



The meeting of coalition leaders, parliamentary sources say, should be updated to Thursday next week at 3 pm. 



A "civic" in Milan?
