  According to reports, Colombian President Duque confirmed that two car bombs exploded in the Army’s 30th Brigade military base in Cúcuta, the capital of Norte Santander.

When the explosion occurred, a huge fireball appeared over the scene, and thick smoke billowed all around.

As of now, at least 36 people have been injured, and the number of injured is expected to increase.

  Colombian Defense Minister Morano said that it was preliminarily speculated that the rebel "National Liberation Army" was behind the attack, and he condemned this "terrorist act."

However, no organization has claimed responsibility for this incident.

  According to reports, the explosion occurred in a border city in northeastern Colombia. The car bomb exploded and damaged some facilities in the base.

The government has closed the road leading to the camp and dispatched helicopters to the area to provide support.
