Pingshan County, Shijiazhuang City, located in the western part of Hebei Province, on the eastern foot of Taihang Mountain, is the seat of Xibaipo, the sacred place of revolution, and is also a well-known old revolutionary district in the country.
In recent years, based on local reality, the county has vigorously developed the photovoltaic power generation industry. Based on its natural geographical advantages, the county has invested in the construction of photovoltaic power stations to turn barren hills into a "cornucopia", drove local villagers out of poverty and became rich, and assisted rural revitalization.
According to reports, in 2020, Pingshan County will build 66 village-level distributed rooftop photovoltaic poverty alleviation power generation projects, with a total investment of 9.74 million yuan.
At present, these projects have all been completed, which can increase the income of each village collective in 66 poor villages by 11,000 yuan per year.
