This was reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the department.

It is noted that the decision was made after Bastrykin heard a report from Vitaly Zaripov, the acting head of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Novosibirsk Region, on the progress of the criminal investigation into the fire.

“Alexander Bastrykin for the most thorough and objective investigation, as well as establishing all the circumstances of the incident, transferred the criminal case for further investigation to the central office of the Investigative Committee of Russia,” the Investigative Committee noted.

Earlier it was reported that the director of the gas station, where more than 30 people were injured in the fire the day before, was detained.

Governor Andrei Travnikov said that the main reason for the emergency is non-compliance with security measures and lack of control on the part of the leaders.

On June 14, a gas station caught fire in Novosibirsk, and explosions of fuel tanks began.

More than 30 people were injured.

A criminal case was initiated.
