Gendarmes and firefighters from several departments resumed the search this Tuesday morning in the Ariège lake of Montbel to try to find a 35-year-old man missing on the water since Monday, around 4 p.m.
The 30-something was on a kayaking trip with relatives when his boat overturned.
According to France Bleu Occitanie, it was about 150 meters from the shore when it fell into the water and did not come to the surface.
Since then, despite the large device deployed - including a canine brigade, a helicopter and seven divers - it has not been found.
Monday evening the search was interrupted by night.
