The Tunisian government decided to prosecute the head of the parliamentary bloc of the "Free Constitutional Party", Abir Moussa, and her deputies;
On charges of threatening and attacking two ministers during a session of the Assembly of the Representatives of the People (Parliament).
The Presidency of the Government said - in a statement on its Facebook page - that "Abir Moussa and the rest of the Free Destourian Bloc deputies (16 deputies out of 217) attacked and threatened the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Olfa bin Auda, and the Minister of Social Affairs Muhammad Trabelsi, while answering a set of questions. The government affirmed its rejection of these practices that violate the democratic system, which affect the state and the working mechanisms of its institutions, and disrupt the normal functioning of the public facility, according to the statement.
She added that the government's presidency decided to go to the judiciary and file a case against MP Abeer Moussa and the rest of the Free Destourian bloc's deputies, for the actions committed against the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Minister of Social Affairs.

According to local media, the speaker of the parliament’s plenary session, Samira Chawashi, was forced to adjourn the session twice;

Representatives from the rest of the parliamentary blocs say that "the abuses and sit-ins by Abeer Moussa and her bloc's deputies at the parliament's headquarters are aimed at disrupting its work, in order to confuse this institution."
On more than one occasion, Abir Moussa announced that she was against the 2011 revolution, which overthrew the regime of then President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali, who ruled the country from 1987-2011.
