The divers from the Coast Guard will search in Lagaån by Replösabron during Tuesday and Wednesday.

The area by Replösabron was searched by divers already in February, without results.

But now in May, a special search dog clearly marked for the deceased person and it has made the police want to search the area again.

- This is the best search the police currently have to work for, the area needs to be searched again, says Robert Loeffel to SVT Småland.

The police also recently conducted an urgent search for a tip from a private person.

Then they found a jacket that did not turn out to have any connection to the disappearance.

One meter visibility

The diving team from the Coast Guard in Karlskrona consists of four divers and one dive leader.

The divers are connected to a boat that moves methodically across the river, with the help of a strap.

In the middle channel of the Lagaån river, the depth is estimated to be just over twelve meters.

- The visibility is as it is, the divers see about one and a half meters in front of them, says Robert Loeffel.

The boy, who was 17 at the time of the disappearance, left a party in December 2020 and has not been seen since.
