Former lawmaker Yoo Seung-min, who is preparing to run for president, strongly criticized the basic income claimed by Gyeonggi Governor Lee Jae-myung.

Former lawmaker Yoo appeared on SBS digital original 'Issbla' and said, "Governor Jae-myung Lee's basic income system is to deprive the common people of benefits and support opportunities by giving them equally to the high and middle class, and I think that's a sin."

He also criticized, "It is not justice to say that we have to share the same and receive more tax," he said. "Deceptive populism is about thinking only about votes in elections and not thinking about the future of the country."

When asked by viewers if former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol would be willing to give up running for president for free election management for President Lee Jun-seok if he joined the power of the people, he replied, "No way. "It's going down the road," he said. "There is a clear distinction between construction and construction."

Yoo said, "The very conservative voters in Yeongnam are starting to make strategic decisions to change the government and win the presidential election." He said, "I always said that there is no conservative political future if we don't get support from the metropolitan area, young people, and the middle class. I think the people will be interested in candidates with scalability,” he said.

He also showed confidence, saying, "If you break through the difficult intra-party primary and become a candidate, you can win the final."
