Several students from the Quatre Vents college in L'Arbresle witnessed a surreal scene on June 8.

At around 5 p.m., they saw two men rushing at a 14-year-old schoolboy who was going to take the bus in order to assault him.

According to

Le Progrès

, a 26-year-old young man, accompanied by his 58-year-old father, would have wanted to avenge his little brother, who was allegedly beaten by the teenager concerned.

This violent punitive expedition reached a milestone when the 26-year-old took out a pellet gun to point it at the schoolboy's forehead.

The victim was then punched by the young assailant and his father.

The latter in turn threatened the schoolboy with the revolver.

Injured and deeply shocked, the victim was prescribed an eight-day ITT.

Quickly arrested at their home by the gendarmes of L'Arbresle, the two alleged attackers were tried on June 11 in immediate appearance before the court of Lyon.

They both received the same sentence, namely thirty months in prison, ten of which were suspended and two years on probation.
