The Russian official responsible for the development of the new crown vaccine said recently that the nasal spray new crown vaccine has been tested in children between 8 and 12 years old.

  According to TASS news agency, Alexander Günzburg, director of the Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology, introduced to President Vladimir Putin that the nasal spray vaccine for children is the same as the vaccine currently promoted in Russia. However, the dose is smaller and "a nozzle is used instead of a needle".

  Günzburg said that the injection method allows the drug to enter the blood completely, while the nasal spray method can ensure that no more than 50% of the drug enters the blood.

At present, the children undergoing the test have no side effects such as fever.

  A number of new coronavirus vaccines developed by the Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology of Gamaliel have been approved by the Russian health department, including two doses of adenovirus vector vaccine "Satellite V" and single dose of adenovirus vector vaccine " Satellite Light".
