"The restrictions are being introduced only for a week, so additional support measures are not planned yet," TASS quoted Efimov as saying.

He stressed that non-working days were introduced primarily for office employees.

According to the deputy mayor, the restrictions imposed will not lead to a halt in the work of industrial enterprises - Moscow factories will continue to work as usual.

"In the near future, food courts will only be able to work for delivery, customer service in shopping centers is temporarily suspended," said Efimov.

Earlier, the Moscow authorities recommended employers to re-transfer some of their employees to remote work.

Also, the city has introduced new restrictions in connection with the spread of coronavirus infection.

The measures affected the operation of shopping centers, cafes, restaurants and capital parks.
