A man attacked by a dog was seriously injured this Sunday evening in the district of La Faourette, in Toulouse.

It was shortly before 9:30 p.m., when the Haute-Garonne firefighters were called to intervene at Impasse Paul-Lambert.

On their arrival, the emergency services took care of a 38-year-old man in absolute emergency, transported to the hospital.

Two women aged 25 and 60 were also slightly injured, as was a 4-year-old girl who was brought by her family to the pediatric emergency room.

For now, we do not know the exact circumstances of the attack.

Identified owner

The dog, which could be a Staffordshire type, was taken in by the municipal pound.

Pucé, the owner of the dog has been identified and was apparently there when his animal got out of control.

The victims would belong to the entourage of the master.

Until the national police investigation is completed, the animal will remain in the pound.

There, he will be examined by a behaviorist veterinarian and health monitoring will be carried out to find out if he is a carrier of diseases, indicates the Toulouse town hall.
