This is not only ecology, it is also the issues of security and the fight against terrorism.

These are questions of local interaction, when we talk about the exchange of information, for example, between secret services, ”said Eremina.

She noted that in this context, everyone is interested in this meeting. 

“To relieve the degree of tension, to show that the leaders are simply ready to sit down and talk, this is already enough for this intensity of passions, probably, at least somehow to reduce,” the specialist concluded.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin, in an interview with the host of the Moscow.Kremlin.Putin program on the Russia 1 TV channel, Pavel Zarubin, named the topics of negotiations with US President Joe Biden.

The Russian leader noted that such issues as strategic stability, regional conflict and environmental protection are of mutual interest.

Putin also added that he and Biden need to restore personal contacts, establish a direct dialogue and create "really functioning mechanisms of interaction."
