“There will be no citywide holiday for graduates, which was traditionally held at the end of June in Gorky Park, this year,” the department said.

They also noted that "the decision to cancel it was made due to the fact that the situation with coronavirus remains difficult in the capital and there is a significant increase in the number of cases, including among schoolchildren."

Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced non-working days in the capital from June 15 to June 19, 2021, with the preservation of wages.

Thus, non-working days in Moscow will last from 12 to 20 June.

The Moscow authorities also recommended employers to re-transfer some employees to remote work due to the situation with the coronavirus infection COVID-19.
