"We call for the complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula and for the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK )'s verifiable, irreversible abandonment of illegal weapons of mass destruction and ballistic missiles, in accordance with all relevant UN Security Council resolutions," the document says.
It is noted that the parties also called on North Korea to interact and resume dialogue with the United States.
Earlier it was reported that American President Joe Biden on the sidelines of the G7 summit discussed with Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga the policy towards the DPRK and China.
