Saturday evening, four tourists who went on a night walk were struck by a vehicle on a road in the town of Lanton, located on the Bassin d'Arcachon.
A 55-year-old woman was seriously injured in the accident.
The Gironde firefighters rescued him before evacuating him to the Bordeaux hospital center.
The other three people, more slightly affected, were taken care of at Arès hospital.
The motorist has fled and is currently wanted by the police, confirms the gendarmerie
