More fear than harm, Friday evening in Belfort.
At around 9 p.m., a 5-year-old child who was riding a hoverboard was struck by a biker, reports France Bleu Belfort-Montbéliard.
The little boy fell on the grass but was not injured.
The 28-year-old suspect was arrested within an hour.
Drunk and uninsured, he allegedly fled after leaving contact details with the child's mother.
Already under a prison sentence of eighteen months, he was to be imprisoned in the Belfort remand center in the wake.
