The Belgian national football team started its career in the European Nations Cup (Euro 2020) with a big 3-0 victory over its Russian counterpart on Saturday, in the first round of the second group matches in the first round of the tournament.

The Belgian team topped the group table with 3 points, with a goal difference only against its Finnish counterpart, who blew the first surprises of the current version of the European Championship, with a precious 1-0 victory over his Danish counterpart earlier today.

The Belgian and Russian teams had also met in the qualifiers for the current tournament, and the Belgian team won 3-1 at home, in the first leg, and then 4-1 back at the "Gazprozm" stadium in St. Petersburg, Russia, which also

The Belgian team won the match significantly in its first half, with two goals scored by Romelu Lukaku and substitute Thomas Meunier in the 10th and 34th minutes.

In the second half, the Belgian team remained ahead with the same result until the 88th minute, which witnessed the second goal of Lukaku and the third for the team.

In the second round, Finland will face Russia next Wednesday, while the Belgian team will meet its Danish counterpart next Thursday.
