Krejčíková in the final at Roland Garros (Ansa)

June 12, 2021Barbora Krejčíková is the new queen of Roland Garros.



In the final of the women's singles on clay in Paris, the 25-year-old Czech, number 33 WTA, beat the 29-year-old Russian Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, number 32 WTA and seeded number 31 in three sets: 6-1 2-6 6-4 the score final in an hour and 58 minutes of play on Court Philippe-Chatrier.



This is the first Grand Slam won by the Czech tennis player.
