The dry soils now make the risk of ignition very high.
From Sunday, the risk is extremely high for the spread of a forest fire in south-eastern Sweden.
Especially in Kronoberg County, but also in parts of Östergötland and on Gotland.
According to SMHI's forecast, the risk is somewhat dampened by Monday night due to the expected rain, but increases again during the Monday day to remain extremely large as far as the forecast lasts, which is until Thursday.
So SMHI urges great care with fire outdoors.
