Russian ships deployed in the Pacific Ocean as part of the exercises

"Ships and vessels of the Pacific Fleet have completed deployment in the area of ​​the operational exercise," - quoted by TASS Kabantsova.

As specified, the ships began to carry out activities under the operational exercise program as part of the grouping of the far sea zone of the Pacific Fleet.

According to the rear admiral, the basis of the grouping is the ships of the Primorsk Flotilla of diverse forces and ships of the Pacific Fleet's auxiliary fleet.

The naval tactical groups covered 4,000 km from their bases and areas of duty.

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that an operational exercise of diverse fleet forces in the far sea zone is being carried out in the central part of the Pacific Ocean.
