President Moon Jae-in, who is visiting Cornwall, UK, to attend the summit, met Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga on the afternoon of the 12th (local time).
"President Moon met Prime Minister Suga at the Cabis Bay Hotel, where the G7 summit is being held, and greeted each other," Blue House spokeswoman Park Kyung-mi said in a written briefing today.
This is the first time President Moon has met with Prime Minister Suga, who took office in September last year.
President Moon also met and greeted US President Joe Biden at the Cabis Bay Hotel conference room, spokesperson Park said.
