The revelers did it again.

The police intervened on Saturday evening, more than an hour before the curfew, to disperse hundreds of young people gathered for the second consecutive evening on the Esplanade des Invalides in Paris.

Three people were arrested at 11 p.m., according to the police headquarters.

At the time of the start of the curfew, only small clusters of young people remained in place, who gradually left while the esplanade was surrounded by police trucks.

The police, intervened for "non-compliance with health rules", were the "target of throwing projectiles," said the police headquarters on Twitter.

According to images posted on social networks, a private car was surrounded by a crowd of young people and degraded.

"It really came to an end"

Violette, 16, says she came from Hauts-de-Seine with her friends, for a new Project X evening (named after a 2012 American film centered on a youth party that goes wrong) in which she participated, according to her , more than 1,000 young people.

“I came because last year it was really not bad, it replaces the festivals.

But (…) this (Saturday) evening, it really came to an end, ”she laments, assuring that“ at 9:30 pm the police had already started to intervene ”.

In the capital, young people were far from being the only ones not to respect the curfew on Saturday evening: from the Concorde to the Porte de la Chapelle, via the Grands Boulevards, the city was still full around 11:30 p.m. onlookers of all generations, sometimes with a bottle in hand, and bar terraces remained open.
