According to TASS, Putin said that the number of people vaccinated against COVID-19 reached 18 million, while no cases of serious complications were recorded.
“It seems to me that this is quite convincing evidence that vaccination should go wider,” he said.
Earlier, Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko spoke about the progress of vaccination against COVID-19 in the country.
According to him, the highest rates of immunization of the population are observed in the Belgorod region and the Chechen Republic.
