The man was conscious when emergency personnel arrived at the scene.
The police have now initiated a preliminary investigation into a suspected attempted murder.
- The man was taken to hospital by ambulance with some form of gunshot wound, says Åsa Wallentin, who is a press spokesperson at the Stockholm Police.
Several suspected perpetrators
Since the shooting took place at a gas station, there are several witnesses to the incident.
The police have several patrols on site that collect information about the incident.
- According to witness information, several people have left the crime scene, and we are therefore looking for more perpetrators. We also spy with the help of helicopters, says Åsa Wallentin.
