Irremovable Minister of Finance, Henri-Marie Dondra goes through successive reshuffles since the election of President Touadéra in 2016.

A senior member of the MCU, the presidential party, he "won the confidence" of the head of state said of him his predecessor Firmin Ngrebada in the columns of Jeune Afrique in 2019. Many had also bet on a renewal of the latter in his duties following his management of the security crisis.

Henri-Marie Dondra, 55-year-old banker, liberal obedience, inherits a difficult economic situation after months of blockage following the rebel offensive.

Member of the 1st district of Bangui, a time predicted for the perch, he is considered less close to Moscow than his predecessor in diplomatic circles.

The challenges abound.

Safety first, military operations continued in the regions.

But also humanitarian.

Following the conflict, the country has more than 700,000 internally displaced persons and nearly half of its population in a situation of food insecurity.
