The man is in his 30s and is suspected of a serious drug offense.
The man has previously been convicted of several crimes and as recently as last spring he was convicted by Linköping District Court for drug crimes.
The man has connections to organized crime according to a previous verdict, when shirts with an X-team connection were found in his car.
A total of three Linköping residents are now in custody after Monday's operation when a total of approximately 70 people were detained around Sweden as a result of the international cooperation operation "Trojan Shield".
