The South African news website TimesLIVE quoted the city government official Massina as saying that the news that Sisol gave birth to 10 births is true and has sent representatives to the hospital to visit and provide necessary assistance.

The South African news site iolnews also quoted Sisol’s husband Sotsi as saying that when he learned that his wife had given birth to 10 children, he cried with excitement.

He said: "I can't express my feelings in words, and I am still shocked and excited at this moment. I feel very happy, and I am somewhat at a loss for the support given by all parties."

He said that his wife entered the hospital for delivery at the 29th week of her pregnancy. A total of 6 doctors and 2 nurses participated in the delivery process.

The current 10-births are small and unable to meet with the outside world.

Among the other 6 children in the family, one is twins who are already 6 years old. As the father of 16 children, I feel a great responsibility.

Sisol stated that she was pregnant naturally rather than artificially.

She originally worked as a manager of a retail store, but because she was unwell after pregnancy, she had to quit her job and wait for delivery at home.

Now that the family population has exploded and the economy is struggling, people from all walks of life are in need of help.

She said: "I felt pain and discomfort during pregnancy, and I was very nervous about whether the children are healthy. Now I am very happy that I and the children have survived. Thank God for allowing the children to come into this world in good health."

According to Russian satellite network reports, the family of ten births is collecting donations.

Sisol’s family said: “The family is appealing to local residents to donate money and materials, because 10 children can’t handle it.” She said that a special place has been arranged for fundraising.

In addition, Independent Media Chairman Su Wei, on behalf of the Family Foundation, first donated 1 million South African Rand, which was divided into four years to support the family.

He said: "We think this is a beautiful gift for our country, worth cherishing. These are very special babies, every child is very important. This has never happened in other parts of the world."

Sisol’s ten births are expected to break the Guinness World Record. The previous world record was set by Halima Cisse from Mali, who gave birth to 9 children in May.
