June 10, 2021 - British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and US President Joe Biden at the G7 meeting in Cornwall are ready to sign a new Atlantic Charter, a 21st century version of the 1941 agreement between Winston Churchill. and Franklin D. Roosevelt, a document that helped lay the foundations for the United Nations and NATO. 



The British government has made it known that the two leaders will commit to working together towards goals including more democracy, greater security and freer trade and will set up a task force to restart travel between the two nations, interrupted by the restrictions of the pandemic.
