Yesterday, the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen announced that it had halted its military operations in the vicinity of Sanaa, or any other Yemeni city during the last period, and while stressing that it wanted to lay a political ground for a peaceful settlement in Yemen, local residents in Sanaa confirmed that explosions had occurred at the headquarters of the formerly armored First Division north of The city, without knowing the reasons, while the fighting fronts witnessed a decline in the intensity of the fighting, with the Houthi militias continuing their mobilization operations, and sending weapons to separate areas.

In detail, the coalition said yesterday that it has stopped launching attacks near Sanaa and other Yemeni cities, because it wants to lay a political ground for a peaceful settlement in Yemen.

The coalition spokesman, Turki Al-Maliki, made this statement, and it was published by Saudi official media, after news reports of an attack on a Houthi site near the Yemeni capital, Sanaa.

Al-Maliki denied these reports, adding that the coalition had not carried out any military operation in the vicinity of Sanaa, or any other Yemeni city in the past period, with the aim of preparing a political ground for the peace process.

The coalition said in a statement, "The reports that the coalition targeted the First Armored Division in Sana'a are incorrect."

Yesterday dawn, explosions rocked the headquarters of the formerly armored First Division (the headquarters of the Houthi operations currently), without any flights over the city, according to eyewitnesses and local residents in the capital.

According to the sources, the explosions, the causes of which were not known, occurred at intermittent intervals, as two successive explosions were heard in the early morning hours, followed by three explosions at midday.

In addition, the Yemeni Minister of Defense, Lieutenant-General Muhammad al-Maqdashi, said that “what has been achieved in the battle to restore the state and rebuild the army is due primarily to the sacrifices of the heroes in the field and the support of the brothers in the Arab coalition countries,” noting in a press statement, that "The military establishment has made great strides in rebuilding the forces and establishing a solid foundation for the defense of Yemen."

On the ground, the battles continued on the Khanjar fronts and east of Al-Hazm city, the capital of Al-Jawf Governorate, with the continued flow of Houthi reinforcements and combat mechanisms to the vicinity of Al-Jawf and Marib, according to field sources, confirming the continuation of hit-and-run battles, and the failure of Houthi attempts to penetrate the first lines of defense of the Khanjar camp.

According to the sources, the militias are trying in various ways to penetrate the defenses of the army and tribes in Al-Jawf, but they failed, as a drone was shot down on the Jadafer front, east of the city of Al-Hazm.

On the other hand, the Houthi militia launched a massive campaign of arrests of civilians, in response to the escalating popular rejection, and its failures in its areas of control from Al-Jawf Governorate.

The head of the Rights and Media Committee in the province, Saleh Jamala, confirmed that the militias carried out a campaign of arrests, which is still ongoing, against civilians from Al-Jawf under various pretexts, anticipating the state of discontent and popular rejection that is expected to permeate their areas of control, after they have implicated them in a useless war. Over the past years, it led to the killing of hundreds of people from those areas.

In Marib, the intensity of the confrontations between the two sides has subsided on the fronts of the governorate, with the Houthis mobilization process of its elements and combat mechanisms continuing to the areas of "Al-Jadaan, Sirwah and Al-Jawf Mafraq".

In Al-Dhalea, an explosives expert in the Houthi militia named (Abu Jaafar) was killed, as a result of the explosion of an explosive device he was preparing to carry out a terrorist attack against civilians in the Al-Shallil area, north of Qataba District.

In Hodeidah, the Houthi militia continued its violations of the UN armistice and moved its elements along the seam areas in the east of the city of Hodeidah, most of them concentrated on 50th Street, and in the vicinity of the May 22 platform next to the airport, in addition to sending reconnaissance teams towards the seam areas in Al-Durayhimi and Al-Tahita.

Meanwhile, the explosion of a Houthi landmine made in the shape of a pen wounded a resident of the city of Hays, the day before yesterday, Abdo Saleh Dobla, which led to the amputation of the fingers of his right hand, and separate injuries to his stomach.

The Houthis deliberately invent different forms of mines, with the aim of attracting and trapping the population, as mines have previously been found in the form of toys, and others in food cans, instead of various other forms.

Yemeni source: Al-Houthi repudiates any commitment that leads to a ceasefire

A military source in the Yemeni army confirmed to "Emirates Today", the Houthi militia's desperate efforts to renounce any commitment that leads to a ceasefire, a return to political consultations, and work on humanitarian aspects, and the bombings it carried out in Sana'a at the headquarters of the formerly armored First Division. Which militias take as a headquarters to manage their combat operations, is in this direction.

The source explained that the militias cannot live in an environment of peace and security, as their presence is linked to their carrying weapons and carrying out operations of killing, displacement and destruction, in any area in which they are settled, and if a ceasefire and peace is reached in Yemen, the people will revolt against them, and take revenge. Including the crimes committed by these militias against them over the past seven years.

The source expected that the militias would carry out bombing and targeting operations in separate areas of Yemen, even in their areas of control, in order to mislead the public opinion that those carrying out these hostilities are the Arab coalition and the legitimate forces, in addition to their efforts to target areas that include humanitarian operations “such as camps for the displaced, Or food stores, or bodies and organizations working in this field” in order to charge the coalition the process, and take it as a reason to repudiate any commitments that lead to a ceasefire.

The source pointed out that during the past two days, the militias transferred heavy combat weapons from Sanaa and Amran towards Marib and Al-Jawf, accompanied by school students, who were enrolled in the so-called “summer camps.” If these combat mechanisms are targeted by coalition fighters, it will lead to the fall of Victims of deceived children, but the coalition became aware of the plot against children by the Houthis.
