Three young adults were judged Wednesday before the criminal court of Rennes for a series of burglaries targeting in particular players from Stade Rennais, reports

The case had started on March 5, 2020. That evening, the Rouge et Noir were traveling to Saint-Etienne for a semi-final of the Coupe de France, lost 2-1.
At the same time, the home of striker M'Baye Niang, now in Saudi Arabia, was visited in Rennes.
The following weeks, two other club players as well as business leaders were also burgled in Bruz and Saint-Grégoire on the outskirts of Rennes.
A loss of 250,000 euros for a player
The thieves had taken over many luxury items such as Vuitton bags, jewelry, multimedia equipment and even an Audi.
According to the daily, a player from Rennes had estimated his loss at 250,000 euros.
Denounced by an anonymous source, two of the young people were arrested in flagrante delicto on July 24, 2020. The court sentenced the three young people to terms of six to eighteen months in prison.
