Recently, at the "2021 China-Europe Human Rights Seminar", Chang Jian, director of the Human Rights Research Center of Nankai University, said that the first thing people are threatened is the right to life and health when the epidemic strikes.

If this is not guaranteed, there will be no basis for that person's freedom, employment and other rights.

Therefore, the right to life and health should be placed in the first place in the protection of human rights.

Chang Jian said that we can talk about individual human rights, the rights of various nations and countries, but we also need to add some "human rights", including the right to subsistence and the right to development.

If only the rights of each country are emphasized, and the rights of the entire mankind are damaged, mankind will not be able to survive and develop, and it will be difficult for each country to protect itself.

The "collective human rights" of mankind as a whole should be guaranteed.
