Police officers Linnea Horgby and Elin Sjögren were involved last year and started the police's famous operation Insats cod, which is an attempt to get rid of prostitution in the districts of Södermalm and Norrmalm.
The investment also includes preventive work, and Linnea and Elin have launched a new way of working in the past week.
It involves contacting the men whose phone numbers are found in prostitutes' phones.
The men are not suspected of any crimes, but the purpose of the talks is to offer the men help.
And it seems to give results.
Every fifth man that Linnea and Elin called has agreed to help.
