The International Olympic Committee Executive Committee officially approved the list of refugee delegations for the Tokyo Olympic Games in Lausanne, Switzerland on June 8, local time. A total of 29 athletes will participate in 12 events in Tokyo.

  International Olympic Committee President Bach said that these refugee athletes from all over the world stepped onto the stage of the Tokyo Olympics as a powerful message of unity, tenacity and hope to the world.

  At the Tokyo Olympics, 29 athletes will compete under the Olympic flag.

At the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games on July 23, they will follow the Greek delegation and enter as second place.

It is understood that 6 of these 29 people have participated in the Rio Olympics.
