“At the videoconference, an organization from Peru expressed interest in purchasing the FGBI ARRIAH, the world's first registered vaccine against a new coronavirus infection for animals,” the Rosselkhoznadzor said in a statement.

Interest in the vaccine was mentioned during negotiations between the assistant to the head of the Rosselkhoznadzor Artyom Daushev and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Peru to Russia Juan del Campo.

On May 26, Julia Melano, an advisor to the head of the Rosselkhoznadzor, said that vaccination of pets against COVID-19 had begun in a number of Russian regions.
