- It feels great that we have been given the confidence to manage Stenbrinken.

We are a group of entrepreneurs and managers who have a company together, where we want to make good and healthy investments that make good profit, says Kenneth Wåhlberg, manager and one of the people behind the company Idea Factory Sweden.

There have long been requests from the residents in the area for a new nursing home or some form of safe housing in Sankt Anna.

The market must show what becomes reality, says Kenneth Wåhlberg.

- We can very well imagine apartments where we strengthen the accommodation with another type of service.

It can be, for example, cleaning, supervision or food handling, he says.

"It feels serious and long-term"

The decision to close the nursing home was made several years ago and since then the property has been empty.

The current Alliance in Söderköping came to the conclusion that it was best to sell Stenbrinken and had a reservation in the sale that the buyer should conduct some form of safe housing.

After a selection process between seven different stakeholders, municipal councilor Ulric Nilsson (C) is satisfied.

- We feel safe. This company meets the criteria and in addition they have placed the highest bid. We also know that some of the ten financiers who are part of the company have an anchorage in the Sankt Anna area and Söderköping. So it feels serious and long-term, says Ulric Nilsson (C).
