Al Jazeera Media Network announced that it has been exposed to continuous cyber hacking attempts on some of its platforms and websites this week.
The network said in a statement that between the 5th and 8th of this month, these sites and platforms witnessed continuous attempts and attacks, with the aim of accessing, disrupting and controlling some of its news platforms.
She added that the height of the timing of the cyber attack coincided on the evening of Sunday, June 6, before the screening of the movie "In the Grip of the Resistance" on the "What is Hidden Greatest" program on Al-Jazeera.
The network said that all these attempts were disrupted and failed, as the servers operating company was able to monitor and follow up on these attacks, and prevent them from achieving their goal.
Al Jazeera condemned these actions, affirmed its right to pursue those involved legally, and confirmed the continuation of its courageous media message without being affected by such attempts except by insisting on moving forward with its unique approach.
