Dozens of emails with false headers, months of false procedure.

La Dépêche du Midi

tells in its edition of the day how the investigators of the judicial police confused a young man of 28 years who was posing with his companion for a Toulouse criminal lawyer.

It is the lawyer victim of this identity theft who raised the alarm after receiving an email from his pseudo-client asking him where his case was, a financial dispute.

Except the lawyer had never heard of her.

The defender with whom she exchanged was none other than her companion, who feared that the affair would weigh on her couple and wanted to reassure her.

This man, originally from the west of Toulouse, had at the same time told him that the lawyer was a childhood friend who defended them for free.

The suspect must now find a real lawyer for his appearance in criminal court.
