The temptation was too strong, but he had forgotten the cameras.

A 39-year-old driver was arrested Monday evening by Toulouse investigators and taken into police custody.

The case began about ten days ago when a logistics company based in Blagnac filed a complaint for the disappearance of packages in its warehouse.

Many packages and in particular those containing smartphones, for an estimated damage of 11,000 euros.

Helped by video surveillance and the company's security service, the police quickly identified the looter in the person of this subcontractor, already known to the police and residing in the Dordogne.

" To plead guilty "

According to a police source, one of the stolen phones was discovered around the search carried out at his home, the others were sold over the water via social networks.

The man admitted the facts while in police custody.

He opted for a "plead guilty" procedure and therefore left free while awaiting his appointment before a prosecutor scheduled for July.
