During the spring, Rive's website gradually changed its name to "The Specialist Office in Labor Law", and after Rive's bankruptcy, the new brand got its own domain.

The website is strikingly similar to Rives and attracts clients by attracting a free consultation opportunity, just as Rive did before.

The first to report on this was the online magazine Lag & Avtal.

New brand under the parent company

When SVT's consumer editorial staff Plus asks for contact information for the responsible manager at the parent company Comp-ex & partners Law Sweden *, Richard Olsson calls.

According to him, the Specialist Agency is not a new agency, but just a new brand.

- The parent company has not started any new operations.

Richard Olsson says, however, that the parent company has taken over some of Rive's previous clients in connection with Rive's bankruptcy.

Assigned after criticism - come back

At the beginning of March, Richard Olsson, then CEO and the agency's most recently known majority owner *, told Plusredaktionen that he had sold all his shares in the parent company and stepped down from all assignments within the group as a result of criticism in the media.

But during the spring, several employees told Plus that Olsson in practice continued to control both Rive and the parent company even after that.

- Of course, I have not had any kind of operational power to be able to influence the operation of Rive, says Richard Olsson.

- People can think what they want, but in the end, this is governed by the Swedish Companies Act and board positions and rules that apply to these types of roles and positions.

Close relative on Rive's board

The fact that a close relative of Olsson sat on the board of Rive at the time of the bankruptcy and for several years was also a member of the parent company's board, Olsson does not want to comment.

Olsson confirms, however, that after the previous conversation with Plus, he has resumed the role of CEO, but now calls himself a senior consultant in the parent company.

He also says that he supported the decision to close Rive and that he helped with Rive's liquidation.
