The Drone of Discord.

Sunday evening, near Pouvourville, south of the Pink City, the air became electric between two neighbors.

The first used his drone and the second did not seem to appreciate this aerial intrusion over his property.

He grabbed a hunting rifle and used it in the direction of the craft.

The owner of the drone gave the alert around 9 p.m., specifying that his angry neighbor was a former soldier.

A patrol of the anti-crime brigade went there.

The police did find a device on the ground, broken, but not showing at first sight no lead impact.

The police took the gunman into custody where he spent the night.

To plead guilty

The 48-year-old man, unknown to the services, pleaded that he had fired blank cartridges.

But he admitted the facts and chose a “plead guilty” procedure.

He will be summoned before a public prosecutor for "willful destruction of the property of others by dangerous means" and possession of an undeclared weapon.
