The

National Police

have arrested

three young people

in

Orihuela

(

Alicante

) for, allegedly, having detained a minor under 16 years of age against his will, fled a reception center, and stabbing him in the back when trying to escape from them, seriously injuring him .

Those responsible for the reception center filed a complaint at the

Orihuela

Police Station,

warning that one of the minors in custody had not gone to sleep at the premises.

Immediately, the agents of the

Family and Women Unit

of the Police Station activated the protocol for their search.

Five days later, the young man returned to the center with a stab wound to his side that had produced a pneumothorax, with a perforated lung, for which he was transferred to a hospital where he had to undergo surgery.

The policemen traveled there to take a statement from him.

Apparently, after not returning to the center, the young man was taken in by two people, of legal age, in an apartment located in a central area of

Orihuela

.

After several days in that place, one of the detainees told him that he was not going to be free there and allegedly threatened to take away his cell phone.

27,000 euros or kill a neighbor

The minor tried to escape from the home, but was hit on the landing, where he was stabbed in the back so that he would not flee, being dragged back to the house, where they sat him in a chair and tied him with ropes.

To be released, the youths gave him two options: get a relative to pay 27,000 euros or kill a person residing in the town.

The victim lost consciousness and was thrown to the ground and locked in a room in the house.

The pressure of the police and those in charge of the center who did not cease in their efforts to locate the missing person contributed to the attackers finally releasing him.

The agents of the

Family and Women Unit

of the

Orihuela

Police Station

, thanks to the indications of the victim, located the address where she had been held and established a device in its vicinity until the residents returned to the same place, where they were captured.

The agents made a search at the home where they found the knife with which, presumably, the assault took place, in addition to other biological evidence.

Those arrested, aged 22 and 23, both of Spanish nationality, are accused of the crimes of illegal detention, injuries, robbery with violence, extortion, omission of the duty to help and omission of the duty to prevent or prosecute crimes.

They were made available to the Orihuela Investigating Court, which ordered the physical perpetrator of the attack to be put in prison.
